Australia Property under Threat - Nov 2011

We believe that property owners across Australia will be hit with horrendous increases in their rates and taxes due to what can only be described as a political onslaught by the green and pink philosophy.  This will leave Australia vulnerable to an international buy up on a scale never before witnessed.

These idealists in every level of Government have been busy dreaming up impractical targets which owners of homes, factories, shops farms, units and indeed all property owners will have to pay for making ownership difficult in the opinion of Jack Davis of Ratepayers Victoria Association .

Take the twenty year halt to dam building and you will see how this so called green revolution will throw a new set of burdens on water consumers.  In Victoria and other states dams have been considered “ On the nose “  ever since Bob Brown started his slick  “No Dams propaganda” he will be cursed before his time is done when the bills kick in “said Tony Sargeant of the Maroondah Ratepayers Association..

Rates have now become unaffordable rises of 100% are common with multiple

Rate notices on a single title which are now becoming the norm.
